My favorite family & travel photos

These are my favorite photos that I have on my computer, at least of the ones I’ve sorted thru.  A lot of them are one I took, though not all; some are taken by my son or husband.  Some of the older pictures are not high quality as they were taken by a film camera and then scanned from a 3x5.  My brother is the real photographer in my family.  He’s helped me improve some of my pictures!

Note:  The butterfly in the next to last row is one I used to make my avatar on the right.  Donna R looked it up and it’s a red-spotted purple butterfly (Limenitis arthemis astyanax).  The link there has some really good photos of this kind of butterfly, which include some of the undersides of this kind which is pretty cool.  To make my avatar, I brightened the colors, tilted the butterfly 45° and added the green swirl.
